Eimear completed her BSc Physiotherapy in University College Dublin and a post-graduate diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in the University of Bath.
Since 2010 she has worked in various settings including private practice, elite sport with the Sport Ireland Institute, community level Pilates classes and ergonomics support in several large multinational tech companies.
Her treatment focus, regardless of age or activity level, is using evidence-based education and progressive individualised rehabilitation programmes to assist people reach their goals whether that is returning to elite sport or simply walking up and down the stairs.
Her career highlight so far was supporting Team Ireland for a month in Japan during the Tokyo Olympics. She supported the rowing athletes for several years in Cork in the lead up to these games and has experience across several sports from local to international level (athletics, hockey, GAA, para-athletes, gymnastics).
In her spare time Eimear is busy chasing after her young children and enjoys walking, running and weights.
